Indirect Senior Buyer

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Performing buying activities (RFP, Analysis, etc.),
  • Actively communicating with the business stakeholders to ensure that their purchase requirements are met and prioritization of their requests so as to ensure their purchase requirements are met in a timely manner, and/or they fully understand existing IPU sourcing strategies,
  • Provide senior level expertise, guide and influence stakeholders in driving complex sourcing projects at global or regional level,
  • Create competitive sourcing tactics for sourcing event execution,
  • Identify proactively opportunities to reduce spend and optimize supply base,
  • Ensure efficient, effective Source-to-Contract process implementation in your everyday work,
  • Provide ideas for process improvements
  • Maintaining an awareness of changing market conditions for dedicated categories,
  • Performing periodic spend analysis to identify opportunities for local projects,
  • Cooperating with suppliers from Poland and other European countries,
  • Supporting global projects,
  • Ensure suppliers agree to Autoliv policies and processes (eg. required documents, risk mgmt.  payment terms,  etc).
  • Managing, resolving and communicating on local quality and service issues,
  • Perform all necessary procurement operations activities - order processing, vendor creation and technical issue resolution,
  • Cooperating with other departments (Production, SCM, Quality, HR).
  • Carry out RFQ, negotiate and prepare award decisions and conduct periodical supplier evaluation,
  • Track and archive all purchasing relevant documents and agreements,
  • Develop/Implement the global/division agreed Indirect Procurement (IPU) strategies, processes and procedures and ensure compliance,
  • Monitor market trends and suppliers capabilities,
  • Organize and facilitate periodic meetings with key stakeholders to review status/plans/issues with ongoing spends, strategies and all new requirements,
  • Ensure KPI for chosen categories,


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s degree or other relevant professional qualification in related area,
  • At least 5 years of work experience in sourcing, preferably in a global sourcing organization, e.g. as a sourcing specialist or category buyer,
  • English fluency,
  • Experience in international projects,
  • Strong self-management skills,
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing and interpersonal skills,
  • Autonomous, results oriented, promoting team-work, problem solving,
  • Proven track record in delivering cost savings and process improvements,
  • Analytical skills,
  • Proactive, service-oriented person which has good collaboration and team-working skills with flexible and positive attitude towards changes
